Centre for Military, Security and Strategic Studies
Shelley Wind is the Manager of Administrative Services in the Centre for Military and Strategic Studies (CMSS), Faculty of Arts, at the University of Calgary. She has been a member of the University community for over 28 years as a student and employee in diverse positions.
Shelley plays a leadership role in administration, personnel, and budget planning for the Centre. She serves as Executive Assistant to the CMSS Board of Directors and has served on many U of C committees. She was elected to serve on the Management and Professional Staff (MaPS) Executive Committee form July 2012 to July 2015.
Shelley represented the MaPS staff on the U Make a Difference Committee (2013-14), Order of the University of Calgary Committee (2012-2015), the Lecture of a Lifetime Committee (2014-2015) and the University Recognition Committee (2014-2015). Shelley chaired the MaPS Engagement Working Group for the Faculty of Arts (2015).
Shelley was awarded a U Make A Difference award in 2006 for her contributions and commitment to making the university a great place to learn and work.
Shelley is pursuing a Human Resource Management Certificate through Continuing Education at the University of Calgary.
